Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 2026
TimeNext is designed with privacy as a core principle. This Privacy Policy explains what data TimeNext accesses, how it's used, and what stays on your device.
Screen Time Data
TimeNext uses Apple's Screen Time APIs (Family Controls and Device Activity Report) to read the usage time of the apps you choose to track. This data is processed entirely on your device inside Apple's private, sandboxed Screen Time reporting extension. TimeNext never sends your app usage data to any server.
What We Store
Your app selections, chosen Conversions, and subscription status are stored locally on your device (iOS UserDefaults, including a private App Group used only to share this information between TimeNext and its Screen Time extension on the same device). None of this data leaves your device.
Account & Personal Information
TimeNext does not require an account or sign-in. We do not collect your name, email address, or other personally identifying information.
Subscriptions & Payments
TimeNext Pro subscriptions are purchased and managed entirely through Apple's App Store using StoreKit. TimeNext does not receive or store your payment details. Billing information is handled under Apple's own Privacy Policy (apple.com/legal/privacy).
Notifications
If you enable Daily or Weekly Report notifications, they are scheduled locally on your device with a fixed reminder message. No usage data is calculated or transmitted to generate these notifications.
Analytics & Third Parties
TimeNext does not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services, and does not share data with third parties.
Children's Privacy
TimeNext is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as TimeNext evolves.
